Finding Common Ground…Again!

Standard

During a summer internship with Missouri Soybean Association, I worked with a grassroots program called “Common Ground,” which tells the story of real, modern agriculture through a mother’s eyes.

Saturday night I ran into one of my three volunteers for our state at the MU Agriculture Alumni Auction. Sitting with her and visiting, it was great to hear about what’s going on with her family and getting an update on the program (the volunteers just attended a conference last week).

My internship was completed in December and I haven’t had much time to visit with the volunteers, so getting this time with Lisa was a blessing.

I am extremely passionate about the program and have enjoyed watching my three Missouri volunteers develop throughout the last few months.
